Shuhan Wang

 

shuhanDr. Shuhan C. Wang is the executive director of Chinese Language Initiatives at Asia Society, where she leads efforts to expand and strengthen the Chinese language field in the United States. 

She serves on the Leadership Team of the STARTALK project, the board of directors for the Joint National Committee for Languages and the National Council for Languages and International Studies, and the Editorial Board of Foreign Language Annals of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.

From 1998 to 2006, Dr. Wang was the education associate for World Languages and International Education for the Delaware Department of Education. She is a frequent speaker and widely published author on topics in foreign language education. Dr. Wang received her doctorate in Educational Linguistics from the University of Pennsylvania.
