6:30pm: A Musical Dialogue

The US China Forum on the Arts and Culture presents a unique evening dedicated to artistic dialogue between cultures and art forms. A stellar cast led by Yo-Yo Ma features Meryl Streep, Chen Leiji, Wu Tong, Du Cong, Damian Woetzel, Liu Lin, Brooklyn Rider, Charles “Lil Buck” Riley, and students from the China Central Conservatoire, performing together at the magnificent National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing. Directed by Damian Woetzel, this concert is a celebration of mutual exchange, shared admiration, and friendship between Chinese and American artists. Many of the artistic collaborations for this performance have been developed exclusively for the US China Forum on the Arts and Culture and are being seen for the first time.
