Dr. Nelson Teng, M.D., Ph.D. is the director of Gynecologic Oncology
at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Teng received his
Ph.D. in biophysics from the University of California at Berkeley,
did his postdoctoral fellowship at Massachusetts Institute of Technology
and received his M.D. from University of Miami and is a graduate
of a program at Stanford University executive MBA. Dr. Teng has
been involved in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry for
the past twenty years. He has authored over 100 publications and
holds 15 patents. Since 1985,Dr. Teng has been serving as a consultant
to various financial institutions, governments, and biopharmaceutical
industries on health and technology issues. Dr. Teng is also the
co-founder of several biotechnology companies and currently serves
on the boards of several companies and non-profit organizations.
