Neil Salvi, educated at Oxford University and INSEAD set up PACE Software (a
product focused remote software services company with operations in Dublin,
Cambridge and Pune) after winning the European Business Plan of the Year
award in 1997. Since then PACE Software has been building long term
strategic partnerships with leading product vendors in the European market.

Prior to this he was with Andersen Consulting for 10 years in their Software
Products Division based in Chicago, US. Involved in designing and developing
the first enterprise-wide client/server architectures in the late eighties,
he helped set up their parallel product development and support centres in
Sophia Antipolis, France and also in the Phillipines before becoming
Director of Technical Marketing - EMEAI.

Recently appointed convenor of the WG7 (NSAI) multimedia coding and
transmission technology focus group in Ireland he is an active member of the
MPEG4 rollout community worldwide.
