Rajen K. Dalal is President of the Blood Testing Division at Chiron Corporation, a leading biotechnology company in Emeryville, California. The division manufactures and supplies genomic/nucleic acid diagnostic products and immuno assays to detect HIV and hepatitis in blood, and hosts the ebloodbank.com blood banking portal. Mr. Dalal is a member of the National Advisory Council for Blood Safety and Availability.

Prior to joining Chiron, Mr. Dalal was a consultant at McKinsey & Company in the management of technology, healthcare and the global pharmaceutical industry.

Mr. Dalal has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from St. Xavier's College, University of Bombay, a Masters in biochemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a MBA from the University of Chicago. He lives in San Francisco, California.
