New York City is currently playing host to 125 artists from Cambodia who are performing in 30 major arts and educational institutions all over the city until the month of May. The Seasons of Cambodia feature music, dance, visual art, ritual, film, puppetry, and academic forums.
Asia 21 Fellows Phloeun Prim played an enormous role in making it happen, while Sophiline Cheam Shapiro will be performing at the festivities.
Phloeun is Executive Director of Cambodian Living Arts (CLA) and the Season of Cambodia is an initiative of CLA. Sophiline is one of the choreographers and dancers in the festival.
