During the months of April and May, New York City will play host to 125 artists from Cambodia who will be performing in 30 major arts and educational institutions all over the city. The Seasons will feature music, dance, visual art, ritual, film, puppetry, and academic forums.
Asia 21 Young Leaders Phloeun Prim played an enormous role in making it happen, while Sophiline Cheam Shapiro will be performing at the festivities.
Phloeun is Executive Director of Cambodian Living Arts (CLA) and the Season of Cambodia is an initiative of CLA. Sophiline is one of the choreographers and dancers in the festival.
